Hi all! This is not a specific female-targeted audience what I am about to mention. But this group is very proactive in current matters and persons in charge diligently manage to achieve changes through perseverance and good feedback from this group.
Let's Talk about mental health
This a topic that I think is so important to talk about it for both men and women alike and I would like to tackle this subject head on and remove any stigma out there and be as honest about my own mental state to hopefully help you open up if you feel the need to and we will guide where you can seek help.
Having said this through experience, men tend to find it quite hard to talk about any mental issue that they are facing or at least Society has put quite a taboo on a man to always be strong and be the one who faces challenges head on with strength and mental endurance however this could not be further from the truth.
It is not easy to talk about one's feelings especially if most people ignore you or brush you off. Sometimes our friends and family might tell us to 'Get Over it' without knowing what our thought process is and how we are battling inside.
It is OK not to be OK and in this section I will be talking about some of my own personal experiences and where to seek help if you find yourselves lost sometimes. I will also be inviting guest experts to talk about different subjects, where one can all learn about mental health and its true affect on our well being.

As I am studying Gestalt Psychotherapy, I wanted to have a clear picture of Malta’s mental well-being. Having worked on mental health issues in my personal life, this area is close to my heart. I have split this blog into 2 articles: Part 1 shares and reviews the findings of my journey and Part 2: Facts Behind The Story shares the data on which this is based on.
Just about everybody suffers from a deficiency of sleep at some point or another. It might be due to jet lag, anxiousness, problems at work, or additional elements. The COVID-19 pandemic will go down in the history books as one of the rare things that brought humanity to its knees. Our human civilization came to a screeching halt as billions of people around the globe were forced to stay indoors. Some of the largest countries in the world announced indefinite lock downs and that, in itself, created more fear and panic than the virus.
Physical activity as often as possible is so important for your health! At least an hour a day should do the trick and get your blood flowing and I personally feel so much better when I go for a walk. There are many forms of exercise one can opt for of course ex: swimming, cycling, running and many more.
When we are young kids, every action our parents take has a profound impact on our lives and livelihood for the future. When I was six years old some thirty years ago now when I was coming of age my father of British descent sent a letter to my mother informing her that he intended to divorce our mother via a letter and that we would not be seeing him any longer.
I want to share this experience with you to let you know that you are not alone and to have faith that things can get better amidst all the chaos and noise of the modern day during these trying times. I have lost all faith but somewhere deep inside of me I know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Recently I found out that for the last ten or so years I was walking around suffering from severe clinical depression which little did I know but it affected and still is affecting a huge chunk of my life leading me into an abyss I did not think I could get out of.
